In the spring of 2004 we bought our first cattle. Up to that point we spent most of our time building fences and clearing brush.
This is Yen and Robyn in the lean to part of the barn. After we got the calves we fed them for three weeks on starter pellets before turning them out onto the rye grass pasture
This is Robyn on the new pasture.
During the summer we repaired a section of the barn roof. There was plenty of rain in 2004 and we made more than two bales of cotton per acre.
This is an after shot of the new roof.
This is Dad in the tall cotton field.
